Bergs’ Marketplace
Every second and fourth Saturday of the month from 9 AM until 3 PM are honey is available for purchase at the Slow Food market at the Bergs Marketplace. The traditional Slow Food farmer’s market has already become very popular among fans of excellent taste. Bergs Marketplace offers only 100% fresh and quality products produced and cultivated in the Latvian farms. Farmer’s and domestic producers from all around Latvia offer a substantial diversity of products – honey, homemade breads, smoked meats and fish, various cheese, jams, preservatives and pastries Here one can buy fresh milk and raw pork, beef, chicken or rabbit, as well as all the herbs and spices to cook these products.
Bergs Marketplace also offers the crafts of local craftsmen who have accustomed to the needs and taste of city dwellers – here one can purchase beautiful fashion accessories, bijouterie, toys as well as homemade cosmetics from natural products – creams, oils, scrubs, soap etc.
